Joel Armstrong

Coach Armstrong teaches Special Education.  He also coaches Football and Track.  "I am very excited to be at Humble High, and I’m eager to contribute to the Wildcat family".  Coach is happily married with one kid, and his family is the love of his life. He was born and raised in Longview, TX, and he attended Longview High School, “The home of the LOBOS”.  Armstrong earned an athletic scholarship to play football at Rice University where he also received a Bachelors degree in Economics and Managerial Studies.  "I chose to become an educator/coach because I wanted to make a difference in the lives of kids. The ultimate attribute of a coach is to be a teacher first. The youth of today is the future of tomorrow".  This is something he holds very true to his heart.
